Students can embrace their unique creative abilities within the CEW Collaborative community through commitment, rigor, and hard work with consistently guided instructions. They can confidently work towards proficiency in varied art practices and subjects through comprehension, resulting in a creative portfolio for higher educational learning and entrepreneurial opportunities.
(The Organization) CREATE
The CEW Collaborative creates an all-inclusive working environment for students and parents to learn and engage in the creative process of investigating history, materials, and techniques in and outside the classroom. CEW Collaborative allows students to operate in their voices while fostering their understanding of traditional and contemporary art-making approaches. We look forward to creating and promoting interactive engagement opportunities for students to collaborate with artistic contributors to their community.
Our students will have the Collaborative’s support to:
• Encourage students to share ideas, be open-minded, and cultivate students’ artistic and creative needs.
• Offer world-class art instruction, including critical thinking and technical training to prepare students for various career paths in the arts and other workforce pathways. Create access to quality art supplies, equipment, and reference materials for art teachers, students, and parents.
• Establish partnerships with local schools and arts organizations to share resources. Engage local business owners in creating career workforce opportunities such as networking and building relationships, job placements, and mentoring to help provide insight and guidance into the art industry.
