Students can further understand and discover their creative abilities by working with creative peers and innovative professionals within their preexisting community framework. Students will participate in guided projects that challenge and redefine their preexisting artistic beliefs through discovery. Collaborative students are fostered to engage in deeper investigative art processes to become effective visual communicators in Art and design in and outside the classroom—these open processes of student discovery result in the utilization of critical thinking and curating skills.

The CEW Collaborative discovers the community's artistic needs by partnering for effective, creative, solution-driven ideas. We value collaboration with teachers, parents, and creatives to achieve transformative community results. The future of our student’s artistic careers is congruent with the vision of thriving communities and the driving force of economic development. The CEW Collaborative advocates for gathering our creatives collectively and providing a platform to make tomorrow more impactful in our Lowcountry communities and aboard.
Selected participants will have the Collaborative’s support in:
• A safe, creative space and inclusive working environment.
• Crafting their creative narrative.
• Establishing a new and tailored learning experience that invests in critical thinking skills, visual communication, art theory, and art history.
• Obtaining portfolio preparation for higher ed, entrepreneurial training, business management, and networking skills.
• Exclusive access to working with CEO and Founder Charles Edward Williams and other professional artists to develop advanced technical skills and strategies to build their artistic careers.
